Technical Requirements for Mylextron Platform

We've built our platform to work smoothly on just about any device you're already using. No fancy hardware needed—if you can check your email, you can access our investment awareness tools. That said, there are a few things worth knowing before you get started.

Most people don't think about browser versions or connection speeds until something doesn't work. We'd rather you knew upfront what works best, so you can have a genuinely useful experience from day one.

What You'll Need

Internet Connection

Minimum 2 Mbps works fine for browsing resources and tools. If you're planning to stream webinars or live sessions, aim for 5 Mbps or better. Regional NBN connections across NT handle this comfortably.

Device Specifications

Anything from the last six years should be perfectly adequate. We're talking 4GB RAM minimum, though 8GB makes everything a bit snappier. Tablets and smartphones work too—just know that detailed financial charts are easier to read on larger screens.

Display Requirements

1366x768 resolution or higher recommended. Our dashboard adapts to smaller screens, but financial data often involves numbers and graphs that benefit from extra real estate. Portrait mode on mobile works, landscape is better.

Operating Systems

Windows 10 or later, macOS 10.14+, current Linux distributions, iOS 13+, Android 9+. Basically, if your device still receives security updates, you're good to go.

Storage Space

About 500MB free space if you're planning to download educational resources for offline reading. Otherwise, everything runs through your browser with minimal local storage needed.

Most technical hiccups we see come from outdated browsers rather than hardware. Update your browser first, and you'll probably solve 80% of potential issues before they happen.

Browser Compatibility

We test extensively on major browsers. Chrome and Firefox give the smoothest experience, but Safari and Edge work well too. Just keep them updated—browsers from 2023 or later handle everything we throw at them.

Google Chrome

Version 110 or later. Fast rendering, excellent chart performance. Our most popular choice among users in Darwin and Katherine.

Mozilla Firefox

Version 108 or newer. Solid privacy features, handles complex financial visualizations without breaking a sweat.

Safari

Version 15.6+ for macOS, 15+ for iOS. Apple device users report smooth functionality across all features.

Microsoft Edge

Version 110 or above. Built on Chromium now, so performance matches Chrome closely. Good choice for Windows users.

Internet Explorer isn't supported—Microsoft themselves stopped supporting it in 2022. If you're still using it, now's a good time to switch. We can help with that transition if needed.

Security and Privacy Considerations

Financial information deserves proper protection. We use bank-grade encryption (TLS 1.3) for all data transmission. Your browser needs to support modern security protocols—anything from 2020 onwards does this automatically.

Cookies are enabled by default in most browsers, and we use them to keep you logged in securely. Third-party cookies aren't required for our platform to function. Javascript must be enabled—pretty standard these days, but worth mentioning.

Pop-up blockers might interfere with document downloads or new window features. We've designed around most of these issues, but if something seems broken, check your pop-up settings first.

Two-Factor Authentication

Works with standard authenticator apps. SMS backup available for areas with limited app store access.

Session Management

Automatic timeout after 30 minutes of inactivity. You can adjust this in account settings if needed.

Data Encryption

AES-256 encryption for stored documents. Your uploaded financial records stay private.

Access Logs

View your login history anytime. Unusual activity triggers email alerts automatically.
